Electronic Appliances
Laboratory for Electronic Appliances is accredited by ATS and accepted in international CB scheme.
Tests are carried out according to the current version of Serbian standard SRPS EN 60065 and the series of Serbian standards SRPS EN 60950 (which are identical with the international versions).
Testing according to SRPS EN 60950
In the Laboratory the following types of the product can be tested according to series of standards SRPS EN 60950 (the full list is in the scope of accreditation)):
- information technology equipment
- network equipment
- equipment for telecommunications network infrastructure
- telecommunications terminal equipment
- banking equipment
- machines for processing data and their associated equipment
- electrical and electronic retailers equipment
- electrical and electronic office equipment
- postal equipment
Testing according to SRPS EN 60065
According to the standard SRPS EN 60065 in the Laboratory can be tested next audio, video and similar electronic devices (the full list is in the scope of accreditation)):
- receivers and amplifiers of sound and/or images, signal converters, power supply
- electronic musical instruments and accessories
- audio and/or video apparatus to be used in education
- video-projectors, video cameras and video monitors, equipment for teletext
- turntables and CD players, cassette players and CD recorders
- antenna positioners
- apparatus for radio-amateurs
- apparatus for use in alarm systems
- receivers in the cable system
- multimedia appliances
Types of Testing
The purpose of the application of these standards is to prevent injury or damage due to the following risks from:
- electric shock
- hazards related to energy
- hazards related to heat
- radiation
- implosion
- mechanical hazards
- chemical hazards
- fire
Additional Information
All laboratories of Kvalitet a.d. are accredited by the Accreditation Body of Serbia (ATS).
ATS is a signatory of the multilateral agreement on recognition of accreditation with the European Organization for Accreditation (EA), and also IAF MLA signatory with the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the ILAC MRA agreement with the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC).
Therefore, the reports issued by Kvalitet a.d. Niš are the basis for placing of the CE mark, , as they can be recognized in all the countries whose accreditation bodies are signatories of named agreements, including all European Union countries.
