Electrical Tools

Laboratory for Electrical Tools is accredited by ATS and accepted in international CB scheme.

Tests are carried out according to the current versions of the following Serbian standards (which are identical with the international versions):

  • SRPS EN 60745-1
  • SRPS EN 60745-2 series
  • SRPS EN 61029-2 series
  • SRPS EN 60204-1

The laboratory is in possession of measuring equipment of high accuracy, as well as very specific equipment for testing according to methods prescribed in these standards.

In the Laboratory for Electrical Tools the following types of the product can be tested (the full list is in the scope of accreditation):

Laboratory performs products safety testing, concerning electrical and mechanical characteristics and material testing:

  • input power and electricity
  • leakage current and dielectric strength
  • air clearances and creepage distances
  • overload protection of transformers and associated circuits
  • heating
  • misusing
  • mechanical strength
  • components
  • protective grounding
  • resistance to heat and fire
  • corrosion resistance
  • the radiation, toxicity and the like
  • hazards and dangers that come from the influence of the environment on the device, for example protection against access to parts under voltage
  • resistance to harmful water ingress

All laboratories of Kvalitet a.d. are accredited by the Accreditation Body of Serbia (ATS).

ATS is a signatory of the multilateral agreement on recognition of accreditation with the European Organization for Accreditation (EA), and also IAF MLA signatory with the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the ILAC MRA agreement with the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC).

Therefore, the reports issued by Kvalitet a.d. Niš are the basis for placing of the CE mark, , as they can be recognized in all the countries whose accreditation bodies are signatories of named agreements, including all European Union countries.
